JERMAINE JACKSON ON DR. CONRAD MURRAY: "HE SHOULD BE CUFFED, FINGERPRINTED AND MUGSHOT TAKEN"

February 5, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA)-- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT's MARY HART sat down exclusively with Jermaine Jackson today in Los Angeles for a new interview to air tonight, February 5th.

In the wake of news that Dr. Conrad Murray is expected to be charged with involuntary manslaughter charges on Monday, Jermaine gets emotional when talking about the impending case. "I just feel like it took so long to arrest this guy," says Jermaine of Michael's former personal physician who was with the King of Pop when he died last summer. "And to just [let this linger on, it is] putting daggers in our hearts and my mother's."

Jermaine says the Jackson family is furious with how the case is being handled, how long it's taken and that Dr. Murray will reportedly only face involuntary manslaughter charges, as opposed to second-degree murder. If convicted of involuntary manslaughter, it is possible Murray will serve no time behind bars.

How does he feel about Murray possibly turning himself in without being arrested, he says, "I think he [Murray] should be cuffed, he should be fingerprinted, he should have his mugshot just like they did my brother."

Asked if he could determine the charges filed in the case, Jermaine replies, "It could be first-degree murder, it could be whatever - Michael's not coming back, so where's the closure? Where is the closure?"

Jermaine fights back tears when he talks about his late brother, "I should have been smarter about what he [Murray] administered to my brother outside a hospital setting," he says. "Michael was excited about his shows and he should still be here."
