THE DOCTORS TO AIR SURVIVOR-AFRICA WINNER ETHAN ZOHNS FIRST INTERVIEW FOLLOWING HIS STEM CELL TRANSPLANT, FEBRUARY 1

"When I was diagnosed with cancer, I realized I'm going to have to get through this game of survivor,

but now I'm playing a game for my life and not for a million dollars.  I think knowing how far I can push

myself and my mind, and my body and my spirit, definitely helped me battle cancer." - Ethan Zohn

On Monday, February 1st, THE DOCTORS will air an exclusive interview with Survivor-winner Ethan Zohn, following his 21 days in isolation after undergoing a stem cell transplant that Zohn describes as "the best way to reset my body" after battling CD Positive Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  During the interview, Dr. Stork and Zohn discuss the details of Zohn's recent stem cell transplant, the steps that led him to undertake such a risky procedure, and his prognosis.

Stork also discusses with Jenna Morasca, Ethan's girlfriend and former Survivor-The Amazon winner, the significant role she played as Ethan's caregiver and co-conspirator against his cancer.  "I pretty much bullied him whenever he felt down," states Morasca.  "I made him watch ‘Gladiator' and would say ‘get it together and start fighting,' and I think that made a difference."

Ever since the 2002 Survivor-winner was diagnosed in April 2009, Zohn, age 36, has become what he describes as "the megaphone" for the younger generation to raise awareness about cancer.  Zohn, an ambassador to StandUp2Cancer and The Livestrong Foundation, has detailed practically every aspect of his journey while living and fighting cancer - from bringing a camera into chemo and radiation, to walking the streets on NY when he can't sleep, to losing and shaving his curly hair, to what it is like to fight for his life.  After receiving the good news that his recent radiation treatment was successful, Zohn decided to undergo a stem cell transplant procedure, which was followed by 3 weeks of isolation in a hospital room at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
