New York, NY - Nov. 20, 2008-- INSIDE EDITION investigates a high-priced escort service in New York City. INSIDE EDITION arranged for a female producer employed by the program to interview for a job advertised on the internet at an agency, located in New York City, called Elite Liaisons. Its website, full of provocative pictures of young women, says the agency is always seeking attractive, charming and reliable models.

With hidden camera's rolling, INSIDE EDITION's producer met the owner of Elite Laisons, who calls herself Jayna, in a midtown Manhattan park for a job interview.

Jayna tells INSIDE EDITION's producer up front that she's looking to hire a prostitute.

Jayna: "It's a game basically, and you're going to have sex, you might as well get paid for it."

Jayna tells INSIDE EDITION's producer just how profitable being a "high class" hooker can be.

Jayna: "The rates start at $600 and on up to $2,000 an hour. That's split in half between, you know, the agency and the girl."

When INSIDE EDITION's producer asked if the job ever gets dangerous, Jayna assures her that it does not.

Jayna: No. They know how to behave, you know. They've got money and they're businessmen."

INSIDE EDITION's producer told the madam she could accept the job, and soon after received a call for her first "date." But it was all a set up.

INSIDE EDITION's Senior Correspondent Matt Meagher had called the agency posing as an out of town businessman, interested in an escort who matched the appearance of INSIDE EDITION's producer.

Despite the madam's assurances to INSIDE EDITION's producer that she thoroughly checks out the clients, she never even asked Meagher for his last name.

The madam made it very clear that her new escort should meet her the next morning to deliver half of the money.

Jayna: "You should always count it in front of him."

INSIDE EDITION has learned Jayna's real name is Mary Jane Winkler and this isn't her first foray into the sex business.

Last year, Winkler's, was arrested for running a brothel out of a building in New York's financial district and dubbed the Wall Street Madam. At first she denied being involved in prostitution or knowing INSIDE EDITION's producer.

Finally, Winkler admitted to operating the escort agency. She told INSIDE EDITION she didn't check Meagher's identity because the world of high end prostitutes is safe.

Former New York City detective Patrick Brosnan, says high class calls girls are no safer than common streetwalkers.

Elite Liaison's website has since disappeared. Mary Jane Winkler also told INSIDE EDITION that charges in her arrest last year were dropped, and she said her escort business is closed.
