Drew: It was a pandemic, it was weird times.
Pam: I was having weird times back then too. I was on the ranch doing who knows what. Drinking beer, getting fat. I was ridiculous. I had just given up. I’d given up.
Drew: I’ve given up on life a time or two. What was that one about for you?
Pam: I felt like I was like a spawning salmon coming home to die. I was like, ‘Just get me home,’ everything was just compounding you know when things happen. Even relationship after relationship, it accumulates. It’s not just one disaster after another, they add to the last disaster, and I just felt like I just want to go home. I bought this little farm from my grandmother thirty years ago and I thought, ‘I just need to go home and renovate, not meet anybody.’ Of course met the contractor, he was cute, married him. That didn’t last long. But still why do I do that, it’s this unconscious desire to be noticed and seen. It’s my actions that really propelled me into thinking, ‘I need to go back from the beginning. When was I normal before weird stuff started happening to me?’ I need to go back to that five year old child and so I started putting her picture everywhere.
Pam & Drew on Protecting Their Kids and Pam Reveals She Hired a Bodyguard for Her Kids at School

Drew: When I had my kids it was like that changed everything.
Pam: Well the things you won’t do for yourself you do for your kids.
Drew: And are we protecting our children the way we never got to have that protection?
Pam: Definitely. My kids didn’t know they had a security guard at school. I hired someone to be an assistant PE instructor just to be there because people were trying to take them off the schoolyard. I had to find clever ways to make them feel everything was normal but I needed to know eyes were on them and I was not going to take that chance.
Drew: I mean your dad and Tommy teamed up against the paparazzi and when they’re going after you at the Viper room, and at a certain point I so understand, I get it…this is not okay. They didn’t sign up for this.
Pam: It’s so hard.
Pam on Finding it Hard to be with Someone Other Than Her Kid’s Dad and Discovering Being Alone
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/WjCdnChHKhkU
Drew: You got to say something that I hadn’t heard another woman say, which is I don’t know really how to love someone that isn’t my kid’s dad.
Pam: I know. That’s hard isn’t it. It’s just that connection that you don’t have with anybody else and people may say that they can get past it but I can’t. I haven’t been able to and that’s okay. I don’t even care if I’m alone the rest of my life. I’ve experience really wonderful, loving moments and sometimes things don’t last forever for a reason and it’s okay. It’s fine and the last year I spent alone I think has been the happiest year of my life.
Drew: I love this discovering of myself and there’s so many parallels I feel with you.
Pam Wanted to be a Nun When She Was little & Reveals her Best Mistake
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/jkIJRsvBEUKq
Drew: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Pam: I wanted to be a nun or a librarian, and I kind of took a different route. I don’t know what happened. I was at the library every day, I was at story time every day and I wanted to be a librarian and then I thought, ‘No I really want to be a nun.’
Drew: You know what’s hilarious I played a nun at the Playboy mansion in ‘Charlie’s Angels 2’ so you know I think sometimes we can all be a hybrid. Best mistake you’ve ever made?
Pam: I don’t want to call it a mistake, my best mistake was I guess marrying Tommy.
