Drew: This is Alison leaving a note for Dave.

Alison: It’s actually like a voice note that he recorded of me when I was a little intoxicated.

Drew: Take a listen…

Alison: Let me tell you, there were all these things from early in our relationship that I go like, ‘Wow I can’t believe Dave stayed with me.’ There are some early voicemails to your point that he has recorded where there’s no game, it’s like we had gone out a couple of times and I’m leaving him voicemails that are like, ‘I just like you so much. You’re hot and like why do you want to date me? I love it and I love you.’ This is like we barely knew each other two weeks in and he was like, ‘I’m in.’

Drew: And you have a little payback, because did you bring a photo no one’s ever seen?

Alison: Yes this is the night we met. Must be 21 to enter and I was, so I did.

Alison: A lot of it has to do with nudity. We’re sort of creeping around, the nudity is something, I appreciate you not spoiling anything, but we did.

Drew: The poster is so great, it’s like you’re streaking. I’m sorry but I do miss streaking. I’m sure that’s taboo.

Alison: I agree. We wrote streaking into the story because I love streaking.

Drew: I’m a fan too.

Alison: I was streaking a few nights ago in L.A. before our premiere in the hallways of the hotel.

Drew: Okay we had a story in the news about first dates and according to this one woman, she’s advocating for sex on the first date. My younger self says yay my older self says nay. Did you and Dave, what was your first date, how do you feel about the concept?

Alison: Well, I think I’ve told you that Dave and I met at Mardi Gras together, so maybe you can deduce whether or not we had sex on the first night.

Ross: I was wondering, how do you pick your projects, did a fortune teller tell you to do ’50 First Dates’ or ‘Wedding Singer?’

Drew: No. Both of those I went after with a tenacity of a rabid, rabies riddled dog. I begged Adam Sandler to meet me because I was so convinced that we should be cinematic soulmates. I brought him a script called, ‘Frigid and Impotent’ and it was like a dark comedy and I was like, ‘Would you wanna do something like this?’ and he was like, ‘I’m writing this script right now called ‘The Wedding Singer’ and I read it and the girl’s part wasn’t very developed so they got Carrie Fisher and Judd Apatow and a bunch of people to come on and sort of enhance the parts and so that’s how that came about, not a fortune teller.

Ross: The Daily Mail found one relationship expert who said something interesting. They say you can totally have sex on the first date.

Drew:…I love it, because that’s life so why not be real?

Ross: And speaking of moaning, she says to do it on the first date. She says it can be a helpful way to decide if you want. No shade, I do not shade if you have sex on the first date but I would only have sex on the first date if I was pretty sure there was not gonna be a second date, like you’re not that interesting but you are hot so let’s do it and I’ll never see you again. Now are you a hit it and quit it kind of lady?

Drew: I might have been a wild child but now I am a chaste woman and I would not hit it on the first date. There’s no way.

Ross: That’s interesting. Why when you were younger but now there’s no way?

Drew: Because I was an idiot and I didn’t think about anything and now I’m the mother of two daughters and everything is about being demure and a good girl so it’s totally different…

Drew: I was reading a detail that I really appreciated, you wouldn’t let your boys play football, they played a myriad of other sports but you wanted them to be grown enough to be physically strong…may I ask do you have any mom advice for me on how to raise good kids?

Donna: The biggest thing for me, especially that you learn through sports, is to be inclusive, treat everybody the same way and let them be the driver of what they want to do. If you’re in music or art or whatever, they have to be driving it they can’t be the parent.
