<div>SHOWTIME ANNOUNCES &quot;DARK ROOTS: THE UNAUTHORIZED ANNA NICOLE&quot;</div>

Critically Acclaimed Filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato Uncover Secret Life of Anna Nicole Smith

New York, NY, March 3, 2002 -- Production has wrapped on the documentary "DARK ROOTS: THE UNAUTHORIZED ANNA NICOLE," which is directed and produced by Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey (The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Party Monster) along with Gabriel Rotello (Monica in Black and White). This documentary, which will confirm some of the rumors and explode some of the myths about this larger than life character, is slated to air on SHOWIME in the spring of 2003.

DARK ROOTS is a Showtime Networks presentation in association with World of Wonder Productions and Channel 4 UK. Pearlena Igbokwe and Beth Greenwald are the creative executives for Showtime Networks Inc.

Although Anna Nicole Smith does not suffer from a lack of exposure, who she really is remains a mystery. That is because Anna has been careful to distance herself from her family. In DARK ROOTS, Anna's estranged aunts and cousins speak out for the first time as the film attempts to uncover the little known origins of this blonde bombshell whose dreams surpassed the small town of Mexia , Texas, her birthplace. Barbato and Bailey present Anna's story of sex, money and drugs in the inimitable style that they have come to be known for.

World of Wonder Productions is one of the leading providers of non-fiction programming with offices in both Los Angeles and London.
