Cush Jumbo

Cush Jumbo established herself as a television talent to watch after her series regular role of Lucca Quinn in the final season of the acclaimed CBS series “The Good Wife.” Jumbo’s additional television credits include the lead in “Vera, opposite Brenda Blethyn, and the UK version of “Getting On.”

On stage, Jumbo last appeared as Katherina in an all female version of “Taming of the Shrew” at Shakespeare in The Park and at Joe’s Pub at The Public in “Josephine and I,” a one-woman show which she also wrote. Both productions were directed by Phyllida Lloyd. For the latter production, Jumbo was presented with the “Emerging Talent Award” at the Evening Standard Awards for her self-penned show, which originated at The Bush Theatre in the UK in July 2013, and she was also nominated for “Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre” at the Olivier Awards for her performance. Prior to that Jumbo made her Broadway debut opposite Hugh Jackman in “The River.

Jumbo’s additional theater accolades include an Olivier Award nomination for her role as Marc Antony in an all female version of “Julius Caesar”; “Best Actress” at The Manchester Awards for “A Doll’s House” (Royal Exchange); and the “Ian Charleson Award” for “As You Like It” (Royal Exchange).

Her film roles include leads in the upcoming BBC Films “City of Tiny Lights” and “Remainder,” based on the Tom K. McCarthy novel.

Currently, Jumbo resides in New York City.
