From a young age, she often stood up for her classmates who were bullied at school, which led to an interest in self defense and martial arts. It was during her time at the dojo that she met Tara Strike. Their mutual respect and unbreakable trust laid the foundation for what would become one of the most formidable tag teams on the WOW roster: The Dojo Defenders.
