August 2026

BOSTON BLUE is an action-packed multi-generational family drama starring Donnie Wahlberg in a captivating evolution of beloved NYPD Detective Danny Reagan, expanding the universe of the long-running top drama BLUE BLOODS. Reagan’s newfound leadership in the Boston Police Department amplifies his dynamic partnership with whip-smart Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), whose prominent law enforcement family embraces him as their own. Matriarch, Boston District Attorney Mae Silver (Gloria Reuben), demands an unequivocal pursuit of justice from her daughters, Detective Lena Silver and Police Superintendent Sarah Silver (Maggie Lawson), grounded in sage fatherly advice from renowned Baptist pastor Reverend Edwin Peters (Ernie Hudson). As the youngest Reagan-Silver law enforcement duo, Officer Sean Reagan (Mika Amonsen) and Officer Jonah Silver (Marcus Scribner), forge their own paths in a new generation of Boston policing, Danny must navigate the line between mentorship and fatherhood while solving the city’s most dangerous crimes.

The second season premieres Friday, Oct. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand) for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
