JAVIER DAVID, MANAGING EDITOR FOR BUSINESS AND MARKETS AT AXIOS, NAMED CBS NEWS STREAMING CONTRIBUTOR
The CBS News Streaming Network has named Javier E. David as a CBS News contributor. In this role, he will contribute to the stream’s coverage of business, markets and the economy. David is currently the managing editor for business and markets at Axios where he oversees all business coverage and newsletters.
Prior to joining Axios, David was an editor at Yahoo where he was the editorial lead of a daily newsletter and oversaw coverage of cryptocurrencies, food and the COVID-19 pandemic. He also previously worked as a reporter for CNBC, Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal and Reuters. David began his career working on Wall Street and is a U.S. Army veteran.
