“CBS MORNINGS” BROADCASTS LIVE FROM AUSTIN, INDIANAPOLIS AND GLENDALE ON MONDAY

On Monday, April 8, CBS MORNINGS co-hosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson are leaving the studio and anchoring live across the country where some of the biggest stories are happening.

  • AUSTIN, TEXAS: Gayle King anchors from the University of Texas to recap the CMT MUSIC AWARDS from the night before. Singer Jelly Roll will join her on campus exclusively. ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT correspondent Cassie DiLaura will also join to relive the highlights from the awards show. Plus, a special performance from the University of Texas Longhorn Band.

  • INDIANAPOLIS, IND.: Tony Dokoupil anchors from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ahead of the total solar eclipse. He’ll chat with Bill Nye “The Science Guy,” and astronomer Lucianne Walkowicz about what viewers can expect ahead of the celestial event. Dokoupil will also anchor a CBS News Special Report with CBS EVENING NEWS anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell from 2:00-3:30 PM, ET on the CBS Television Network and the CBS News Streaming Network.   • GLENDALE, ARIZ: Nate Burleson anchors from State Farm Stadium ahead of the Men’s NCAA National Championship. He’ll recap the Women’s NCAA National Championship and look ahead to the men’s big game that evening in Arizona. He’ll also speak with NFL TODAY host James Brown who dives into the history behind the song “One Shining Moment,” which is the musical capstone to March Madness.

On Tuesday, April 9, Gayle and Tony will be back in the Times Square studio while Nate continues to report from Glendale with a recap of the Men’s NCAA Championship. Check out the full guest listings for the week of April 8 here.
