“60 MINUTES” IS TELEVISION’S #1 BROADCAST ON SUNDAY AND #2 IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18+ FOR THE WEEK

60 MINUTES finished as the #1 primetime broadcast in viewers on Sunday and took the #2 spot in viewers and adults 18+ for the week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, May 8. This is the 17th time this season the show has made the top 5 in viewers and the 25th time it has made the top 10 program out of 26 airings. 60 MINUTES delivered 7.11 million viewers, 2.8/12 in adults 18+ (7.02m) and 0.8/06 in adults 25-54 (1.01m).

This season, 60 MINUTES has been television’s #1 primetime broadcast in viewers six times.

Sunday’s edition of 60 MINUTES featured Norah O’Donnell’s interview with former Defense Secretary Mark Esper; Sharyn Alfonsi’s look at how the pandemic affected the mental health of Milwaukee’s youth; and Jon Wertheim’s report on how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is developing on the most delicate of fronts: the world’s ballet stages.
