“60 MINUTES” IS #2 FOR THE WEEK AND MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE 17TH STRAIGHT TIME
60 MINUTES was Nielsen’s #2 primetime program for the week, drawing 9.36 million viewers to land in the top 10 for the 17th straight time, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan.31.
It was the 12th time this season 60 MINUTES ranked at #5 or higher in viewers.
Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley’s report on those left behind by family who had died of COVID and a two-part investigation by Jon Wertheim into the collection of Americans’ DNA – a commodity intelligence officials say is the most valuable in the world – and how the Chinese are trying to gather as much of it as possible.
Bill Owens is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America’s most-watched news program.
