“CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD” POSTS YEAR-TO-YEAR GAINS OF +11% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +14% IN VIEWERS AND +23% IN ADULTS 25-54

“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” IS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM IN HOUSEHOLDS, VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 3, 2013.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.0/11 with 5.88m viewers, 1.6/07 in adults 25-54.  Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +11% in households (from 3.6/10), +14% in viewers (from 5.15m) and +23% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06). 

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10), +7% in both viewers (5.63m from 5.28m) and adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) compared to last year.

Sunday’s broadcast featured Susan Spencer’s report on the psychology of winning and losing, Tracy Smith’s profile of country singer Tim McGraw, Lee Cowan’s interview with Robert De Niro, Serena Altschul’s visit with Super Bowl artist Charles Fazzino, Bill Geist’s report on the makers of Tabasco sauce, and Wynton Marsalis’ look at the history of gumbo.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
