BOB BARKER, WINNER OF 14 EMMY AWARDS, TO HOST "THE 29TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS," MAY 17 ON CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Bob Barker, 14-time Emmy Award-winner, will host THE 29TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS, to be broadcast live from New York City Friday, May 17 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Adam Arkin, LeVar Burton, Reba McEntire, Rosie O'Donnell, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Luther Vandross, Barbara Walters and daytime television's top dramatic stars will serve as presenters. Representing daytime dramas will be Susan Lucci ("All My Children"), Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott and Peter Bergman ("The Young and the Restless"), Kim Zimmer ("Guiding Light"), Adrienne Frantz and Justin Torkildsen ("The Bold and the Beautiful"), Matt Cedeno and Allison Sweeney ("Days of Our Lives") and Ingo Rademacher and Robin Christopher ("General Hospital"), among many others.

"We have some really terrific talent joining us this year," said Lucy Johnson, Senior Vice President, Daytime/Childrens Programs and Special Projects, CBS Entertainment. "For more than 30 years, Bob Barker has brought excitement and entertainment into the lives of daytime viewers, and we are very happy to have him bring that same charisma to our prime time Emmy broadcast."

Barker has been the host and of "The Price is Right" since 1972, and has received 14 Emmy Awards, including 11 as Best Host of a Game Show and two as producer. In 1999, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Daytime Emmys.

THE 29TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS will be broadcast on the CBS television Network on Friday, May 17th at 9 PM/ET/PT from the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
