WHEN A BOXING REFEREE MAKES A DEATHBED CONFESSION, RUSH AND THE TEAM INVESTIGATE, ON A REBROADCAST OF "COLD CASE,"

SUNDAY, JULY 3

"Yo, Adrian" -- A boxing referee makes a dying confession about a fatal 1976 fight, on a rebroadcast of COLD CASE, Sunday, July 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. James Whitmore Jr. directed from a script by Sean Whitesell. (Originally broadcast 1/16/05)

The deathbed confession of a boxing referee leads Rush and the team to reopen a case involving an over-matched fighter who died moments after a terrible beating in a 1976 bout, which clearly should have been stopped. As the detectives look into why the underdog boxer was essentially allowed to die in the ring, they discover several people with solid motives.
