"What You See Is What You See" -- The tables are turned on Mac when a mystery man opens fire in his local diner and he becomes a witness in his own crime scene investigation, on the first season finale of CSI: NY, Wednesday, May 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Duane Clark directed the episode written by Andrew Lipsitz, who is also one of the series' executive producers.

While Mac dines at his local breakfast spot, a gunman opens fire, leaving a waitress critically injured and a man dead, and Mac having to choose whether to chase after the suspect or save the life of the young woman. Meanwhile, before the chaos, Mac was approached by a shy patron (guest star Penelope Ann Miller) who awkwardly engaged him in conversation. After feeling that he saved her life during the shoot out, she asks him to join her for a drink and Mac must decide if he is ready to start dating after his wife's tragic death.
Penelope Ann Miller is best known to audiences for her film roles in "The Freshman," "The Relic," "Awakenings," "Along Came a Spider" and "Kindergarten Cop," among others. Her television movie roles include "Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story" and "The Last Don," among others.

"Blink" -- Detectives Taylor and Flack discover the body of a missing woman in Brooklyn Heights. When the team finds a second victim on a garbage barge, their investigation leads them to a serial killer who "imprisons" his victims, on a rebroadcast of the season premiere of CSI: NY, Wednesday, June 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Deran Sarafian directed the episode written by one of the series' executive producers and co-creator Anthony E. Zuiker. Scenes were shot on location in New York. (Originally broadcast 9/22/04)
Grappling with memories of his own wife's death, Detective Taylor follows the killer's trail to a live victim -- a woman who cannot move, feel, or speak and can only communicate by blinking. The team must then work to piece together the evidence before the killer zeroes in on another victim.
