CBS'S "LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN" CONTINUES IT SUMMER RATINGS GROWTH POSTING DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS

"Late Show" Is Up +15% in Adults 18-49, +13% in Adults 25-54 and +33% In Adults 18-34 Versus the Same Week Last Year

"The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" Also Notches Double Digit Increases

CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN continued to post year-to-year summer growth notching double digit increases in viewers and key demographics versus the same week last year, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending July 16.

LATE SHOW posted a 3.0/08 in households with an average of 4.02m viewers, up +15% in households (from 2.6/07) and +16% in viewers (from 3.48m) from last year.

LATE SHOW was up +33% in adults 18-34 (1.2/05 from 0.9/04), +15% in adults 18-49 (1.5/06 from 1.3/06) and +13% in adults 25-54 (1.7/07 from 1.5/06) compared to the same week last year. ?
On Friday, LATE SHOW topped "The Tonight Show" in adults 18-34 (1.2/06 vs. 1.0/05), adults 18-49 (1.6/07 vs. 1.5/06) and adults 25-54 (1.9/07 vs. 1.8/07). ?
"The Tonight Show" posted its lowest rated week of the television year in both adults 25-54 (2.1/09) and adults 18-34 (1.5/07). ???

THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG KILBORN scored a 1.2/05 in households with 1.55m viewers, up +9% in households (from 1.1/04) and +19% in viewers (1.31m) from the same week last year. ?
THE LATE LATE SHOW was up +17% in adults 18-49 (0.7/04 from 0.6/04), +40% in men 18-49 (0.7/04 from 0.5/03), +20% in adults 18-34 (0.6/04 from 0.5/03) and even in men 18-34 (0.6/04) compared to the same week last year. ???
THE LATE LATE SHOW's competitor Jimmy Kimmel Live" averaged a 1.1/03 with 1.25m viewers and 0.5/03 in adults 18-49, marking its least watched and lowest rated first run week in adults 18-49 and matching the lowest rated first run week in households. ?
