48 HOURS: “The Suspicious Death of Christian Andreacchio” posted the broadcast’s best audience delivery since Nov. 21, 2020 and matched season bests in key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Saturday, Jan. 9.

48 HOURS posted 3 million viewers and a 0.6/03 in adults 25-54 and a 0.4/02 with adults 18-49. 48 HOURS added +110,000 viewers from the previous week (from 2.89m) and was up +20% in adults 25-54 (from 0.5/03) and +33% in adults 18-49 (from 0.3/02).

Saturday’s broadcast featured Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS’s investigation into the death of Christian Andreacchio, a young Mississippi man, and new information uncovered by 48 HOURS that gave his family hope in their search for justice.
