Marshawn Lynch confirms his retirement in a rare interview set to air on 60 MINUTES SPORTS this Tuesday, June 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME.  The elusive Lynch speaks candidly with 60 MINUTES SPORTS correspondent and Sports Illustrated Executive Editor Jon Wertheim, confirming on camera for the first time that he is finished playing football. 

News outlets are cleared to use this clip on broadcast and digital platforms. Broadcast outlets must verbally mention that the full 60 MINUTES SPORTS interview airs Tuesday on SHOWTIME.  Digital outlets also must reference 60 MINUTES SPORTS and SHOWTIME in the accompanying copy or graphically over the footage.
