"The Andy Griffith Reunion" Will Celebrate For the First Time One of the Network's Most Enduring Shows

"The 46th Annual Grammy Awards" Leads CBS's Award Show Specials

"The 4th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards" Set For Sept. 3

CBS, the place for great entertainment specials, will once again present America's favorite performers, parades, new shows and perennial holiday favorites during the 2003-2004 season.

Two new specials for this season are: CBS AT 75: A PRIMETIME SPECIAL, a new 3-hour extravaganza that will celebrate and commemorate CBS's monumental anniversary with stars from the CBS family of entertainment, news and sports; and THE ANDY GRIFFITH REUNION, hosted by Andy Griffith, with Ron Howard, Don Knotts and Jim Nabors.

The Entertainment Specials:

CBS AT 75: A PRIMETIME SPECIAL (working title), a new live 3-hour entertainment extravaganza, will commemorate CBS's monumental anniversary, Sunday, Nov. 2 (8:00-11:00 PM). A star-studded party atmosphere will prevail, both live from the Hammerstein Ballroom at New York's Manhattan Center and on film, as exciting moments from the Network's spectacular archive of entertainment, news, sports, radio and recordings are shared. Celebrity hosts and guests from CBS's family of stars, as well as some surprise appearances, will help viewers to remember some of the most remarkable, informative, entertaining and humorous moments the Network has presented over the years.

THE ANDY GRIFFITH REUNION, hosted and narrated by series star Andy Griffith, is a heartwarming hour of the best moments from the long-running classic television show. Regulars Ron Howard, Don Knotts and Jim Nabors will join Andy as they reminisce about their years together. Stars from today's top shows will also talk about how the show influenced them.

THE 46TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, the recording industry's highest honors, will originate live from Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will feature live performances by top recording artists. Last year's broadcast was the second highest-rated entertainment special of the 2002-2003 season averaging nearly 25 million viewers and posting double digit increases in key demographics from the previous year.

THE 4TH ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS will originate live from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Wednesday, Sept. 3, and will feature Latin music's biggest stars in the largest and most prestigious celebration of the creative spirit, artistic achievement and diversity that are found in today's Latin music.

THE 37TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS, originating live from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 5, will feature performances from country music's biggest stars as they gather to receive their industry's most prestigious accolades.

THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS: A CELEBRATION OF THE PERFORMING ARTS will pay tribute to outstanding Americans who have distinguished themselves in the performing arts.

THE 30TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS will honor America's favorites in the fields of television, motion pictures and music and is the first Awards show of the season.

THE 39TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS will feature live performances by the biggest stars in country music. The annual broadcast is a fan favorite every spring.

THE 58TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, the presentation of the most prestigious honors in the American theater, will salute the finest shows and the brightest stars of the 2003-2004 Broadway season.

THE 2ND ANNUAL BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR will once again bring the legendary "Boston Pops Fourth of July Celebration" to Network television.

Holiday Programming:

A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS V, a touching new entertainment special, will continue to present inspirational stories about adoption to raise awareness of this social issue.

Returning animated holiday specials include: RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, FROSTY RETURNS, ROBBIE THE REINDEER IN HOOVES OF FIRE and ROBBIE THE REINDEER AND LEGENDS OF THE LOST TRIBE.

The Parades:

THE ALL-AMERICAN THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE and THE 115TH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE.
