JAMELLE BOUIE NAMED CBS NEWS POLITICAL ANALYST
Jamelle Bouie has been named a CBS News Political Analyst, it was announced today by CBS News’ Vice President and Washington Bureau Chief Christopher Isham.
In this role, Bouie will contribute to all CBS News platforms and broadcasts, including FACE THE NATION, CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY, CBS THIS MORNING and CBSN, the Division’s live, anchored streaming network, as well as CBS News’ CAMPAIGN 2016 coverage.
Previously, Bouie has been a regular contributor to the weekly roundtable discussion on FACE THE NATION.
Bouie is the Chief Political Correspondent for Slate Magazine. He previously served as a staff writer at The Daily Beast and The American Prospect.
He is a native of Virginia Beach, Va., and attended the University of Virginia.
