CBS AND CNET TO OFFER EXPANSIVE COVERAGE OF THE 2009 CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW
Drew Carey, Host of CBS's Emmy-Award winning "The Price Is Right," To Appear Live on the CNET Stage
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 6 —
CBS Interactive Technology & News. Drew Carey, host of the long-running CBS game show, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, will appear as a guest on CNET LIVE, a call-in show hosted by CNET Editor-at-Large Brian Cooley and Executive Editor Tom Merritt. Carey, a self-professed tech enthusiast, will tour the show floor with CNET editors, and will share his favorites at the show.
CNET Editors on THE EARLY SHOW, CBS Television Stations and CBS Radio
30-minute CES Special – Del Conte and Sieberg will host a 30-minute special program covering the "Best of CES" awards winners, produced in conjunction with the CBS Television Stations Group. The special will air on local CBS-owned stations following CES. A special lunchtime webcast of the special is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 16, at 12:30 p.m. local in each marketCBS Outernet – CBS Outernet's out-of-home video networks and partners will run recaps of the award ceremony and "First Look" videos, a brief look at tech products launched at the show.
CBS Outdoor – Beginning the week of Jan. 12, the video recap of the "Best of CES" Awards will air on the CBS Outdoor digital board, located in Times Square on 42nd Street in New York.
