iPhone Users Can Easily Access CNET's Latest Tech News, Product Reviews, and Videos on the Hottest Technology and Consumer Electronics Products
CHOW Fans Can Now Access Recipes, How-to Videos, Local Restaurant Information, and the CHOW Message Boards While On-The-Go
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 18 - CBS Mobile today announced the launch of mobile sites for CBS Interactive properties CNET (iphone.cnet.com) and CHOW (mobile.chow.com). The enhanced CNET site is available now on the Apple iPhone and iTouch, with additional mobile handsets to follow in the coming months, and CHOW is available across a wide array of mobile devices. The CNET and CHOW mobile sites offer users a full-featured mobile experience with high-quality photos and a compelling video experience optimized for each unique device.
Launched just in time for the holidays, the CNET mobile site features Holiday Gift Guide videos to help people with their last-minute shopping. Shoppers can also access unbiased editorial reviews, ratings, user opinions, price comparisons, and even link to partner sites to make purchases directly from their mobile phone on more than a million high-tech products such as MP3 players, digital cameras and flat-screen TVs. Additional features of the CNET mobile site include access to CNET's original video programming including popular shows like Buzz Report, CNET Live, Loaded, and more, as well as access to the latest tech product reviews, news and blogs including CRAVE and Webware.
For food enthusiasts, the CHOW mobile site offers access to food and drink recipes, as well as videos on how to prepare them. Users can also search for local restaurants and bars, with the ability to click-to-call and make reservations right from the restaurant listing or review. Finally, CHOW users can access the popular CHOW message boards directly from their iPhone, giving them the ability to read lively discussions about their favorite culinary discoveries.
