"Revenge Is Best Served Cold" - Grissom delves into the high-stakes gambling world to investigate the death of a well-known poker player and Catherine and Nick take to the Vegas streets to investigate a murder tied to street racing, on the third season premiere of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Thursday, Sept. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Danny Cannon, one of the series co-executive producers, directed the episode from a script by executive producers Anthony E. Zuiker and Carol Mendelsohn.

When a famous poker legend dies at the high stakes table, a casino becomes the crime scene. The casino cameras become the critical evidence but only tell part of the story. Grissom's keen observations and affinity for poker, allow him to piece together the investigation. Meanwhile, Catherine and Nick's investigation of a gunshot victim found at an abandoned airstrip leads them into the world of illegal street racing.

Emmy-nominated CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION is a fast-paced drama about a passionate team of forensic investigators trained to solve crimes the old-fashioned way - by examining the evidence. They are on the case 24/7, scouring the scene, collecting the irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that will solve the mystery. Gil Grissom (William Petersen), the senior forensics officer, heads the team of investigators at the Criminalistics Bureau in Las Vegas. The team includes single parent Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), who has to juggle a job she loves with being a parent; Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), a top analyst with insider knowledge of the gambling world; Nick Stokes (George Eads), a charming yet ambitious crime solver, and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), the newest member of the team and Grissom's former co-worker. The CSI team members also work closely with Captain Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), their former chief, now assigned to homicide; Dr. Robbins (Robert Davis Hall) the chief medical examiner, and Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda), the wacky lab technician who processes their evidence.
