For the third straight time, 60 MINUTES made Nielsen's Top 10 list, finishing eighth for the week with 13.36 million viewers. It was also Sunday (30) night's highest rated and most watched non-sports program.
The Top 10 finish in viewers was the 16th over 26 telecasts for America's number-one news magazine.
Sunday's broadcast featured Scott Pelley's report on a former terror detainee who says U.S. troops tortured him, Lesley Stahl's report on former vice president Al Gore and Morley Safer's story on Bill James, the pioneering baseball statistician.
