CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION APPOINTS RESEARCH DUO John Cora Named Vice President, Research Kym Frank Promoted to Vice President, Research

LOS ANGELES - June 27, 2007 - John Cora and Kym Frank have been named Vice Presidents of Research of CBS Television Distribution, it was announced today by Dawn Abel, Senior Vice President of Research at CTD.

 

Cora will oversee all research functions, including for international, cable, first-run and off-network programming, in the Los Angeles office, while Frank, based in Short Hills, N.J., will manage East Coast research efforts, primarily for first-run and off-network programming.  

 

Cora joins CTD from the NFL Network, where he was Research Director since 2005. Previously, he had been Director of Research at CBS Television Network from 2003 to 2005 and has held various research positions at ABC Cable Networks Group, 20th Television and Paramount Television. He earned a degree in Strategic Management from California State University, Chico, in 1996. 

 

A 10-year veteran of King World Productions, Frank had been Research Director, overseeing research for first-run talk show Rachael Ray. She first joined King World in 1997 as a Research Analyst, working her way up through the ranks to Research Director in 2006. She earned a degree in communications from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and a Master's degree in speech from Montclair State University in 1998.
