DAVID ARQUETTE AND MIGUEL SANDOVAL SET TO DIRECT UPCOMING EPISODES OF "MEDIUM"

Hollywood, CA - February 12, 2007 - Actors David Arquette and Miguel Sandoval will each direct an upcoming episode of the award-winning drama, "Medium."  Currently in its third season, "Medium" airs Wednesdays (10:00-11:00PM ET/PT) on NBC.

The Arquette siblings have guest starred in an episode of "The Outsiders" early in their acting careers, but this will mark the first time they will work together in a directing/acting capacity.  David Arquette says "I'm really excited to be able to work with my sister Patricia on this amazing series. I want to thank Ron Schwary & Glenn Gordon Caron for giving me this fantastic opportunity."

Older sister, Patricia Arquette states, "I was always a bossy little girl and being David's older sister I've bossed him around quite a bit.  Now that he'll be directing me it will be payback time.  I think it will be really interesting being directed by David because he knows me so well and I feel so safe with him.  I think I'll be able to go to some of my darkest places."

David Arquette currently stars in ABC's "In Case of Emergency" and has recently directed his first feature film After Dark's "The Tripper," which is scheduled for release this April.

Sandoval portrays D.A. Devalos in the series.  This will be the first time an actor in the series will direct an episode of the show.  Creator/Executive Producer Glenn Gordon Caron welcomed the opportunity for Sandoval to direct, "We're very excited and pleased that Miguel Sandoval will be directing an episode of "Medium" this season. Miguel expressed an interest in stepping behind the camera early in the first season and ever since he brought it up, I have sensed that this "new role" might be a great fit for him. As an actor, he has worked with some of the world's great film-makers and has learned from watching them. He has extraordinary instincts, is beloved by both cast and crew, and already has a parking space. It really seemed like a no brainer to me."

"Medium" is a captivating one-hour drama series, inspired by the life story of medium Allison DuBois, starring Emmy winner Patricia Arquette as a wife and mother of three who is trying to understand her natural intuition about people and her ability to communicate with the dead. While her husband Joe (Jake Weber) is as supportive and as loving as he can be, the couple is struggling to find a balance between her family life and Allison's powerful calling. At work, Allison is hired by district attorney Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) to use her abilities to help him solve cases.

"Medium" is executive produced by creator Glenn Gordon Caron, Kelsey Grammer, Ron Schwary, Rene Echevarria and Steve Stark and produced by CBS Paramount Network Television in association with Picturemaker Productions, Inc. and Grammnet Productions.
