CBS AND SIGNSTOREY INC. ANNOUNCE FIRST TIME PREMIERE PARTNERSHIP FOR IN-STORE MEDIA NETWORK IN GROCERY CHAINS

CBS and SignStorey Inc. have announced a premiere partnership in which America's Number One television network will provide customized in-store entertainment to more than 1,300 grocery stores across the nation. In this exclusive arrangement, CBS programs and personalities will appear in brief, custom produced informational segments designed for busy shoppers.
This represents the first of its kind network partnership in which branded original content will be supplied to SignStorey for use in its in-store media network. The new agreement significantly adds to the Network's out of home television reach by bringing the power of entertainment marketing to grocery chains across the country.
The partnership with SignStorey gives CBS and its sister companies important exposure in valuable locations that target the Network's core audience. CBS original content will include branded segments from CBS Entertainment, CBS News and CBS Sports, as well as from the diverse slate of properties offered by CBS Paramount Television and King World.
"Exposing CBS content to millions of shoppers is a real marketing coup and a great way to get our programming sampled in front of a huge target audience," commented George Schweitzer, President of the CBS Marketing Group. "This completes the circle of reach and recall from network television to retail response and

sales at the store level. By bringing CBS content to this environment, we have created a new level of entertainment and an exciting advertising platform that connects with our viewers and the stores' customers. SignStorey's existing reach into more than 1,300 stores and their huge opportunity to expand this audience made the company an excellent partner for CBS."
"The commitment of CBS underscores the market opportunity for in-store media as an effective way to reach consumers and we are excited to have the Number One television network as our partner," said Virginia Cargill, President and CEO of SignStorey. "Through the SignStorey network, we are delivering a captive audience of more than 11 million shoppers weekly, providing CBS with a vehicle to further promote its brand and extend its audience. At the same time, consumers benefit from more varied and interesting programming, creating a more engaging experience while they shop."
The SignStorey screens are available at grocery chains nationwide, including Albertsons, Jewel Stores, Shaws, Star Markets, Acme, Price Chopper and Pathmark. The 42" digital screens are strategically located on the perimeter of the stores in high shopping areas, such as produce and deli, where consumers spend considerable amounts of time making selective purchases.
CBS also provides original branded content in the skies for American Airlines and on the seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. CBS is the exclusive provider of "Eye on American" in-flight programming and "Eye on Royal Caribbean," providing passengers with customized programming from the CBS Television Network, including entertainment, news and sports.
