"Assassin" --- Don and his team find a suspicious code during a raid which Charlie determines is part of a secret plan Charlie applies a game theory model called "hide and seek" to assassinate a Columbian exile living in Los Angeles predict the assassin's movements and calculate the probability of attack in order to protect the life of the man the killer plans to murder, on the second -season premiere of NUMB3RS, Friday, Sept. 23 Oct. 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bobby Roth directed the episode from a script by Co-Creators and Executive Producers Cheryl Heuton and Nick Falacci. (Previously scheduled for an earlier date)

Diane Farr ("Rescue Me") stars as Special Agent Megan Reeves, ann FBI profiler who studied atin the FBI Behavioral Science Unit at Quantico, and and who has recently been assigned to the Los Angeles FBI bureau to work alongside Don Eppes.

Dylan Bruno stars as Colby Granger, a new Los Angeles FBI agent whose tour of duty with the Army's Criminal Investigation division allowed him the chance to see the world beyond Boise, Idaho where he grew up.

Elizabeth Peñna guest stars as Sonya Benavides, Minister Counselor from Colombia.

Along with David Sinclair and new FBI Agent Colby Granger, fter Don and his team stumblediscovers upon a secret code during a raid and he enlists the help of Charlie''s help to crack it. who cracks the code Using an elaborate game theory model called ""hide and seek,"" Charlie and discovers that it is it is a the plan for the assassination of a Columbian exile living in Los Angeles. Charlie and Megan (Farr) combine their expertise and work closely together to try to prevent the murder from taking place.

NUMB3RS is a drama about Don Eppesstarring Rob Morrow, as an FBI agent who recruits his mathematical-genius brother, Charlie (David Krumholtz), to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. The two brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases from a very distinctive perspective. As a seasoned investigator, Don deals in hard facts and evidence whereas Charlie, a math professor at a California university, functions in a world of mathematical probability and equations. Their father, Alan, is happy to see his sons working together even though he doesn't understand what Charlie does for a living. When Charlie has doubts about the collaboration, he turns to his physicist friend, Dr. Larry Fleinhardt, as he understands that math is the language of human nature and can be used to solve some of life's biggest mysteries. Inspired by actual cases, the series depicts how the confluence of police work and mathematics provides unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing criminal questions.

NUMB3RS is produced by Scott Free Productions, in association with Paramount Network Television. Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Barry Schindel, Nick Falacci, Cheryl Heuton and David W. Zucker serve as executive producers.
