CBS Mornings” and the “CBS Evening News with Norah O’ Donnell” Gain on Competition

60 MINUTES is the week’s #1 non-sports primetime program in viewers and adults 18+, delivering 9.3 million viewers, with 9 million in adults 18+ and 1.9 million in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 1. Since its season premiere, 60 MINUTES has been the #1 non-sports primetime program 13 times in 15 broadcasts. 60 MINUTES remains America’s #1 news program in viewers with all 15 broadcasts this season placing in the top 10 with top five finishes for 10 broadcasts. CBS SUNDAY MORNING continues as the #1 Sunday morning news program for a 632nd consecutive week with its best audience and demographic levels for the season. CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.506 million viewers with 898,000 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered its largest adults 25-54 level since March 6, 2022, and its best women 25-54 audience since May 22, 2022. Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING continues to rank #1 among viewers and all key demographic categories, and has been #1 in viewers for 23 seasons. FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN kicked off 2023 as the #1 Sunday morning public affairs broadcast in viewers for a third consecutive season. On Sunday, Jan. 1, FACE THE NATION delivered 2.984 million viewers with 506,000 adults 25-54. (Watch FACE THE NATION

CBS MORNINGS continues to be the only network morning program posting year-to-year growth in women 25-54, up +7% compared to a year ago. CBS MORNINGS was the only network morning news program up in viewers +3% and women 25-54 +12% from the same week a year ago. CBS MORNINGS delivered 2.4 million viewers, with 477,000 in the adults 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 30. Season to-date, CBS MORNINGS is delivering the tightest gap with NBC in viewers and adults 25-54 ever and is delivering its tightest margin with ABC in adults 25-54 ever. CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL this season is delivering the tightest gap with ABC in adults 25-54 since the 2018-19 season. For the week ending Dec. 30, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL delivered 5.2 million viewers with 773,000 in the adults 25-54 demographic. (Watch the CBS EVENING NEWS)

CBS WEEKEND NEWS SATURDAY delivered 1.501 million viewers, with 230,000 in adults 25-54, on Saturday, Dec. 31.
