NORAH O’DONNELL PREVIEWS 2022 MIDTERM ELECTION COVERAGE WITH CBS NEWS STREAMING SPECIAL

The CBS News Streaming Network, CBS News’ 24/7 live streaming news service, will stream a preview special today, NORAH O’DONNELL: AMERICA DECIDES: CAMPAIGN ‘22, hosted by CBS EVENING NEWS anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnellfrom CBS News Election Headquarters in Times Square. The streaming special will feature insight from CBS News’ team of journalists covering the midterm elections and expand on the reporting and themes fueling the CBS News Democracy Desk by looking at the challenges facing election workers and U.S. democracy as Americans cast their votes.

O’Donnell will be joined by John Dickerson, CBS News chief political analyst and anchor of PRIME TIME WITH JOHN DICKERSON; FACE THE NATION moderator and chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan; chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes; chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa; executive director of elections and surveys Anthony Salvanto; chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett; chief national affairs and justice correspondent Jeff Pegues; senior White House and political correspondent Ed O’Keefe; congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane; and election law contributor David Becker.

The CBS News Streaming special will premiere at 10:00 AM, ET on Monday, Nov. 7 and will re-air several times throughout the day, including at 5:30 PM, ET and 9:30 PM, ET.

CBS News and Stations will deliver comprehensive election coverage all day on Tuesday, Nov. 8, beginning at 7:00 AM, ET on the CBS Television Network and the CBS News Streaming Network’s national and 13 local channels. This will be the first time since CBS unified its local, national and digital news organizations in May 2021 that the Network will leverage the full breadth and depth of its local-to-global news organization to provide reporting and analysis of midterm elections and ballot initiatives across the country and report on how those results impact the balance of power in Washington.
