Ross Mathews




Ross Mathews serves as Co-Anchor of Drew’s News and Producer on THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, the nationally syndicated daytime show hosted by Drew Barrymore.

Mathews has won the hearts of millions of Americans since his television debut in 2001 as a correspondent for “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” In addition to his Drew’s News co-anchor duties on THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, Mathews can also be seen as a judge and is a producer on VH1’s critically acclaimed, award-winning series “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” In 2019, the reality competition franchise secured a staggering 14 Emmy nominations, a record for both the network and the “Drag Race” brand.


When he isn't working on TV and producing events, Mathews can be found in the studio recording his weekly podcast “Hello Ross!” The podcast debuted in 2022 offering fans new episodes weekly featuring in-depth conversations with fascinating people from Oscar-winners to reality stars, dental hygienists and beyond! As an author, Simon & Schuster recently released the paperback version of Mathews’ 2020 book “Name Drop,” the follow up to his national bestseller “Man-Up: Tales of My Delusional Self-Confidence.”


Mathews currently splits his time between New York and Palm Springs with his husband Dr. Wellington Garcia-Mathews. Mathews is a strong supporter of the Human Rights Campaign – he is a recipient of their Visibility Award and continues to speak at their nationwide events.
