CULVER CITY, CALIF. (Dec. 30, 2011) – Beginning Monday, Jan. 2, “Jeopardy!” will switch from WATL-TV to “11Alive” (channel 11) at 7:30 p.m.

Dave Leach, a 35-year-old software analyst from Atlanta, continues his “Jeopardy!” winning streak.  Tonight, Leach won his second game – earning a total of $34,683 in cash winnings so far.

Leach said that playing “Jeopardy!” at home helped prepare him the most.   “I watched the show nearly every night and practiced ringing in on a ball point pen,” he said. Leach also prepared for “Jeopardy!” in other unique ways.  “I practiced while waiting in line for the roller coasters at Six Flags. I had a friend pull up trivia on her phone and quiz me,” he added.

Tune in to 11Alive on Monday to see if Leach continues his “Jeopardy!” winning streak.

“Jeopardy!,” the winner of 29 Emmy awards, including the 2011 Emmy for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Program, was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most awards won by a TV Game Show. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication with nearly 9 million daily viewers.  “Jeopardy!” is produced by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company. It is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution and internationally by CBS Television International, both units of CBS Corp.
