Court Program Is Season’s #1-Rated Syndicated Rookie

NOVEMBER 11, 2014 – HOT BENCH, the new court program created by Judge Judy Sheindlin, delivered season highs in homes, total viewers and all 25-54 demos, for the week ending November 2, according to Nielsen Media Research.

HOT BENCH grew +7 percent vs. the previous week to hit a season high 1.6 HH rating and pulled in 2.2 million viewers. HOT BENCH was the #2 court show among women 25-54 (0.9) and adults 25-54 (0.7) and #3 in homes and total viewers.  

HOT BENCH is the #1-rated, first-run freshman strip season-to-date, averaging a 1.5 HH rating and 2 million total viewers. That’s +25% higher in households than its nearest competitors “The Meredith Vieira Show” and “Celebrity Name Game” (1.2 HH). In viewers, HOT BENCH beats “The Meredith Vieira Show” by half a million viewers. Season-to-date, HOT BENCH also ranks first among rookies in women 25-54 with a 0.8 rating.
