Co-Host

Nischelle Turner is co-host of ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, the world's #1 entertainment newsmagazine. She joined ET as a correspondent in 2014 and was named co-host in 2021, becoming the first Black woman to hold the position in the show's history.

An 11-time Emmy Award winner, Turner was part of the ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT team honored with the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Personality Daily in 2024 and 2025. Known for her dynamic presence, warmth, and journalistic credibility, she has interviewed many of the biggest names in entertainment and helped lead ET's coverage of the industry's most high-profile events, including the GRAMMY Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Academy Awards. She has also appeared across CBS and other network news programs, providing insight and analysis on major entertainment stories.

Before joining ET, Turner was a correspondent and anchor for CNN, regularly appearing on CNN Newsroom, New Day, and CNN Tonight, covering entertainment and breaking news. After joining ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, she continued her relationship with CNN as a contributor. Her broadcast career began in 1998 at WEHT in Evansville, Indiana, as a reporter and fill in anchor before she joined WVUE TV FOX8 in New Orleans as a weekday reporter and weekend anchor.

In 2004, Turner moved to Los Angeles, where she reported for Good Day LA and anchored Good Day LA Weekend on KTTV. She later returned to New Orleans to cover Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, earning multiple journalism awards for her reporting.

Turner's versatility as a broadcaster is reflected in her work as a sideline reporter for FOX NFL Sunday, beginning in 2007, covering national NFL broadcasts, MLB, and NBA events. She also hosted Extra on Essence, an entertainment series spotlighting Hollywood's biggest names through a culturally attuned lens and served as a freelance reporter and host for KNBC.

A proud Missouri native, Turner earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and broadcast news from the University of Missouri.
