Roland Tieh, Executive Producer

Roland Tieh is the executive producer of ADAM’S LAW, CBS Media Ventures’ new court program created by Judge Judy Sheindlin.

 

Most recently, Tieh was the executive producer on Prime Video’s Tribunal Justice. Prior to that

he was the Associate Director of HOT BENCH, a position he held at the Emmy-winning program for nine seasons.  Previously, he was a producer on several other court programs including Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court, Family Court with Judge Penny and Power of Attorney.

 

In addition to court, Tieh’s multi-faceted production background has included stints across all genres including The KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles, Fox Sports’ Full Tilt Poker and talk with NBC/Encore’s In the House with Peter Bart & Peter Guber.

 

Game shows have included GSN’s Poker Royale, High Stakes Poker and Without Prejudice?  His reality show experience features ABC’s Sea Rescue, History Channel’s Top Shot, Discovery Channel’s Big Brain Theory, Fox’s Rich List and E! Entertainment’s Gossip Show, as well as E’s iconic and long-running One Hour Specials. Tieh also had positions in the lifestyle arena with HGTV’s Kitchen Trends and The Style Network’s Home With Style.

 

Born and raised in Bryan, Texas, Tieh received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and went to graduate school for an MBA from California State University.  After working in LA for Northwest Airlines, then in NY as an account manager for a procurement company, he was the first student enrolled at the University of Miami's newly created MFA Film & Television Producers Program.  While at UM, Tieh’s first job was to work as an Associate Producer on CBS Sports' Golf 2000 with Peter Jacobsen.
