Biography
Attorney Jessica Ramirez serves as the law clerk on CBS Media Ventures’ new court program ADAM’S LAW created by Judge Judy Sheindlin. Over her career, Ramirez has specialized in serious personal injury, sexual abuse, medical device and product liability litigation.
She was a former State Assemblywoman and has served on the New Jersey Ethics Committee, as well as an Eminent Domain Commissioner for the State of New Jersey.
Her 25-year legal career has allowed her to serve her community and the unrepresented. She worked as a contract attorney for the Public Defender’s Office of New Jersey representing indigent clients and juveniles.
Ramirez has been featured as a legal analyst on Fox News, The Oxygen Network and
Dan Abrams’ Law and Crime Network. She is a member of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) where she was selected as one of only 18 attorneys nationwide to participate in the AAJ Leadership Academy. She is also a member of The New Jersey Bar Association, The Hispanic National Bar Association and The New Jersey American Association for Justice.
A Puerto Rican native, Ramirez moved to New Jersey when she was eight years old. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stockton University and her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University of Law.
