Morena Baccarin stars as Sheriff Mickey Fox in SHERIFF COUNTRY. Previously, she was widely known for her Emmy Award-nominated performance in HOMELAND as Jessica Brody, starring alongside Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin.

 

Baccarin began her career in the critically acclaimed show “Firefly.” Additional television credits include “Gotham,” “V,” “The Endgame,” “Sessao de Terapia” and “Home Invasion.” She has also appeared in THE MENTALIST on the Network and the Paramount+ original THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

 

Previously, Baccarin starred in “Deadpool,” as well as the franchise’s two other films, “Deadpool 2” and “Deadpool & Wolverine.” She also starred in the hitman thriller “Fast Charlie” and the sci-fi thriller “Elevation.” Additional film credits include “Greenland: Migration,” “Millers in Marriage,” “Last Looks,” “The Good House,” “Ode to Joy,” “Framing John Delorean” and “Spy.”

 

Baccarin is actively involved with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and also sits on the board of Waterwell, a civic-minded theatre company based in New York that inspires audiences and students to change the world they live in.

 

Baccarin was born in Rio de Janeiro and moved with her family to New York City at the age of 7. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School and resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
