Drew: The Daily Mail reports that a sequel might be in the works and rumors that the legendary Goldie Hawn could be joining. I mean, come on, there are so many rumors.

Kate: This has like been an expanded rumor for so long and then now my mom's involved. I have not had any contact with anyone about a sequel.

Ross: Why not? Can we fix that? Let's do it.

Kate: I mean, it seems like people really want it, which is kind of like you know, sometimes you have to listen. I just want if I was ever to do that for it to be really right and good.

Ross: I wanna know what they're doing. Are they married now? Are they happy? Does she need to get away? Does she need to know how to lose her husband for 10 days, you know, like how does it, where do you see them?

Kate: What do you think? Where do you think Andy and Benjamin Barry?

Ross: I've got, I've got you covered. OK, so they're married, they've been together, maybe they've lost that spark in the, in the mundane routine of life, so they've got to get their spark and their marriage back in 10 days.

Drew: And how far are they willing to go to bring it back and then you know it's always good when it seems so far gone, how are they ever gonna get it back in that second act climax.

Ross: And your mother plays your mother. Okay, but if somebody came with a good idea, would you be open to exploring where they are now

Kate: Oh yeah. It would be so fun. Would you do, would you do another one? Would you do like a, like another Sandler?

Drew: We talk about it all the time, and I know that we are going to do it and, and yes, 100% yes. Is it true that you've never done a movie with your mom?

Kate: No. I know, I, I've never, no.

Drew: Would you?

Kate: Would I do it? Again I mean, the same thing like if it was, if it felt right, then yeah, I think I, I would. It would be so much fun to work with my mom like that, and she's such a genius like and I wrote this song called ‘Right On Time.’

Drew: I've been listening to it it's beautiful. I've watched the video.

Kate: I was writing and I was like at the piano and I started writing this song and then it just like started to come out. It wasn't something I actually said like, ‘I'm gonna write a song about my mom.’ It just sort of came to me and like it's so nice to be able to honor her now, you know, while we can share that experience, you know, because she's an extraordinary human who's done extraordinary things. And so like when I was writing this song about sort of her youth and her drive and her pull, I was like, God, what an amazing thing that I get to like honor my mom and then really like be able to talk about someone so extraordinary with random people that I don't know, but that also can feel her. She's pretty special.

Ross: Oh, so do a movie together then, OK, come on.
