  • Efrain Miron

    Executive Vice President, Head of Content Strategy and Licensing, Direct-to-Consumer

    As EVP, Head of Content Strategy and Licensing, Direct to Consumer, Efrain oversees strategy, dealmaking and valuation for Paramount+ and Pluto TV across all originals and content licensed for Direct to Consumer.

    Efrain was hired as one of the first employees at Netflix dedicated to the company’s original programming efforts in 2012, and he worked as a senior strategist and dealmaker at the company for 9 years. During his time at Netflix, Efrain implemented and helped shape many of the business practices, frameworks and deal structures that are widely utilized throughout the streaming ecosystem. Efrain oversaw business affairs for several divisions at Netflix, including the UK unit, Young Adult/Family series and the company’s Overall Deals group. He spearheaded negotiations for a slew of brand-defining series, including hits like The Crown and Wednesday. Most recently, Efrain served as President, Strategy and Business Affairs for Sister Group where he was responsible for helping drive its growth strategy across production and distribution of films and series and worked closely with the company’s Board of Directors to manage its global investments and portfolio companies. Efrain began his career as an attorney in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities and Corporate group of the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman focusing on representing the firm’s roster of entertainment & media clients. Efrain earned degrees from the UCLA School of Law and the University of Southern California.

    Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Paramount Direct-to-Consumer

    Elizabeth Wright is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Direct to Consumer segment at Paramount, A Skydance Corporation, where she oversees financial strategy and operations for Paramount+, Pluto TV, and BET+. In this role, she leads global FP&A, strategic planning, and transformation initiatives supporting one of the world’s largest streaming and digital video businesses.

     

    Under her leadership, Direct to Consumer achieved profitability a full year ahead of plan, while the company’s streaming portfolio surpassed 79 million global subscribers. Elizabeth has been instrumental in driving margin expansion, ARPU growth, and disciplined content investment while guiding the business through major strategic milestones, including the integration of Showtime, the launch and global expansion of Paramount+, and Paramount’s merger with Skydance.

     

    Elizabeth is known for her high-ownership leadership style, deep analytical expertise, and ability to build and scale high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth and transformation. She is a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and boards, recognized for combining rigorous financial discipline with a people-first leadership philosophy.

     

    A passionate advocate for developing the next generation of leaders, Elizabeth serves as a Global Board Member of The WICT Network and sits on the Executive Advisory Council of The City Tutors.
