Dana Goldberg

Co-Chair of Paramount Pictures & Chair of Paramount Television Studios

Dana Goldberg serves as Co-Chair of Paramount Pictures and as Chair of Paramount Television Studios, overseeing the vision and long-term strategy of both studios for Paramount, a Skydance Corporation. She has oversight of production, marketing, distribution, and strategic planning, across Paramount Pictures, Paramount Television Studios, Paramount Animation, and Republic Pictures. 

Since joining Paramount in August 2025, Goldberg and Greenstein have brought some of the industry’s most talented filmmakers and creative voices into the studio, including an exclusive deal spanning feature films, TV, and streaming projects with Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer; first-look film and television deals with Issa Rae and Jon M. Chu; a first-look directing and producing deal with Predator: Badlands director Dan Trachtenberg; an overall deal with A Complete Unknown director James Mangold; a multi-picture deal with Will Smith and Westbrook; and a deal tapping BoulderLight’s J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules to build out the studio’s new genre label, Paramount Primal.

Under Goldberg’s leadership, the studio has built a robust pipeline of upcoming theatrical projects and films, including Street Fighter, as part of the studio’s distribution deal with Legendary Entertainment; Ebenezer led by Johnny Depp; Mr. IrrelevantChildren of Blood and Bone; a new Paranormal Activity from producers James Wan and Jason Blum; Call of Duty, written and produced by Pete Berg with Taylor Sheridan with Berg directing; The Rescue, starring Brandon Sklenar; a new installment of Longlegs reuniting Oz Perkins and Nic Cage; Parker Finn’s update of the classic film Possession, starring Margaret Qualley and Callum Turner;  A Quiet Place Part III, with John Krasinki directing; Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow based on the beloved bestselling novel to be directed by Siân Heder and starring Daisy Edgar-Jones; High Side, from James Mangold and Timothée Chalamet; The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil with James Wan directing and producing; Get Lite, Teyana Taylor’s directorial debut; an Untitled Duffer Brothers project; and new installments of Sonic the HedgehogStar TrekTransformersG.I. Joe, and World War Z; as well as the next installment of Top Gun: Maverick reuniting Tom Cruise with Jerry Bruckheimer; and more. 

On the Paramount Television Studios side, in addition to deals with Chu, Rae, and the Duffers that encompass television, Goldberg has been instrumental in securing an overall deal with Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the creative forces behind the hit series Yellowjackets, as well as a first-look deal with Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple’s Iron Ocean. The Paramount Television Studios slate includes hit series in the Taylor Sheridan universe such as Landman, Dutton Ranch, The Madison, Tulsa King, Marshals and Lioness; global fan-favorites such as Reacher, Cross, Dexter: Resurrection, Ride or Die, Foundation, School Spirits, MobLand and Emily in Paris; as well as the upcoming new series Neagley, Brothers, Frisco King, Neuromancer, Hollywood Arts, The Corrections, and 12 12 12. 

Previously, Goldberg was the Chief Creative Officer of Skydance, where she set and executed the overall creative vision across the company. Goldberg developed and produced numerous record-breaking features including Top Gun: Maverick, several entries in the Mission: Impossible franchise (Dead Reckoning, Fallout, Rogue Nation, and Ghost Protocol), World War Z, True Grit, The Adam Project, The Old Guard, The Family Plan, The Tomorrow War, The Gorge and many others.

In addition to feature films, Goldberg also founded Skydance Television in 2013, where she had creative oversight of the Emmy®-nominated slate including Grace & Frankie, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and more.

Before joining Skydance, Goldberg served as President of Production at Village Roadshow Pictures, where she oversaw and executive produced many of the studio’s blockbuster and award-winning films, including I Am Legend and Happy Feet. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President of Production at Baltimore/Spring Creek Pictures.

Goldberg has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2007 and is also a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy.

She holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri.
