“48 HOURS” IS SATURDAY’S #1 NON-SPORTS PRIMETIME PROGRAM WITH VIEWERS

48 HOURS was Saturday’s #1 non-sports primetime program with viewers, according to Nielsen’s live plus same day ratings for Saturday, April 17. The broadcast delivered 2.44 million viewers and 0.4/02 with adults 25-54.

Saturday’s broadcast featured correspondent Erin Moriarty and 48 HOURS report on Crosley Green, a Florida man who spent nearly 32 years incarcerated for the murder of a 22-year-old man. Nearly three years ago a federal judge ruled he was wrongfully convicted. He was recently released while waiting for the U.S. Court of Appeals to rule after the state of Florida appealed the decision that overturned his conviction. Moriarty, who has covered the case for two decades, talked with Green about the case, his freedom and his future in 48 HOURS: “Crosley Green Comes Home.”
