April 18, 2023 – Paramount+ today released the date, official trailer and key art for the all-new original suspenseful thriller film DEATH’S ROULETTE, premiering globally on Friday, May 5. The Spanish-language film stars Manolo Cardona in his directorial debut and is produced by Manolo and Juancho Cardona. The film will be available to stream globally on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and South Korea.

DEATH’S ROULETTE, written by Julieta Steinberg, Gavo Amiel and Manolo Cardona, and based on the script “La Terminal de Frank Ariza,” centers around seven strangers who wake up in a mansion in the middle of nowhere to discover they are part of a twisted game. They will have 60 minutes to choose one person to die; otherwise, all of them will be murdered. As the clock ticks down, the most lurid secrets will come to light, and they’ll discover they are all connected by a dark past.

As each character begins to justify their life over everybody else’s to save themselves, we sink deeper into a world of intrigue and mistrust and get to know them in an intimate and vulnerable way.

The film features an all-star cast that includes Maribel Verdú, Carla Adell, Juan Carlos Remolina, Adriana Paz, Dagoberto Gama and Fernando Becerril. DEATH’S ROULETTE is produced by Paramount’s international studios and 11:11 Films & TV, the production company co-owned by Manolo Cardona and Juancho Cardona.
