CBS Sports kicks off its coverage of the 2025-26 English Football League season with nine live matches over the opening weekend of League One and League Two action. Every match will stream live on Paramount+ with select matches airing on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

EFL Championship coverage begins on Aug. 8 while the first round of EFL Carabao Cup coverage begins on Aug. 12.

CBS Sports Golazo Matchday will offer pre- and post-match analysis around the day’s biggest contests and top storylines across Paramount+ and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

CBS Sports' EFL coverage this season will be led by host Poppy Miller and a quartet of analysts who starred in England during their on-field careers – Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham United/Aston Villa), Mike Grella (Leeds United), Troy Deeney (Watford/Birmingham City) and Tony Meola (Brighton & Hove Albion/Watford). Geoff Shreeves will contribute as a reporter throughout the season while Christina Unkel will serve as CBS Sports’ rules analyst.

CBS Sports’ selection of EFL matches has been announced through September 27 and additional match selections and studio coverage details will be announced on a rolling basis throughout the season.
