The new “Twin Peaks” premieres on Sky

The new 18-part limited event series premieres in Germany and Austria exclusively on Sky

The series will premiere parallel to the U.S. premiere on SHOWTIME®, May 21st to May 22nd on Sky On Demand, Sky Go and Sky Ticket

The German dubbed version available on May 25th on Sky Atlantic HD

Unterföhring and Amsterdam, 10. April 2017 – After more than 25 years one of the most influential and long-awaited TV dramas is returning: “Twin Peaks,” created and executive produced by original series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost. The new 18-part limited event series will air in its entirety exclusively on Sky in Germany and Austria. For fans who want to refresh their memory as well as for all who want to experience the original television phenomenon for the first time, they are welcome to watch all 30 episodes of seasons one and two beforehand on Sky Box Sets.

About “Twin Peaks”:

With the return of this outstanding TV event we also meet FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) again. Directed entirely by David Lynch, the new SHOWTIME 18-part limited event series picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. The new TWIN PEAKS is written and executive produced by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, and is executive produced by Sabrina S. Sutherland.

Broadcast information:

Seasons one and two available on Sky Box Sets via Sky On Demand, Sky Go und Sky Ticket.
Season one as marathon with four episodes each on May 6th & May 7th at 9pm on Sky Atlantic HD.

Season two as marathon on May 13th & 14th as well as 20th & 21st at 9pm on Sky Atlantic HD.
The new Twin Peaks will air simultaneously with the Showtime US airing during the night of May 21st to May 22nd 21. With two parts on Sky On Demand, Sky Go und Sky Ticket and on May 25th available in the German dubbed version at 9pm on Sky Atlantic HD. In the following week two new parts available, after that one part per week.
