PRESS - Joe List Special

NEW YORK, July 29, 2020 – Joe List’s first one-hour comedy special, “Joe List: I Hate Myself,” will premiere as a direct-to-fan experience Thursday, August 6 live at 9:00 P.M. ET on Comedy Central’s Stand-Up YouTube channel, where it will remain available to stream at any time. List will also be interacting with fans during the 9:00 P.M. ET premiere in real time on the special’s YouTube watch page at standup.com/joelist “Joe List: I Hate Myself,” shot at the historic Village Underground in New York City, explores List’s hilarious neuroses in the way only he can – including how to refer to people who have obsessive compulsive disorder, why it’s insane to think anyone is able to sleep on a plane, and his theory that the dental industry is a sham. “Joe List: I Hate Myself” was executively produced by Tommy Pucciani and Chris Burns and directed by Jason Katz. Ryan Moran and Gabriella Yacyk are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. Fans can follow List on Twitter at @JoeListComedy and Comedy Central Stand-Up at @standup to join the social conversation around the special. List’s first Comedy Central Half Hour special debuted in 2015 where he discussed coping with anxiety in yoga class, aggressive sex, strange male bonding rituals and his uncle's questionable babysitting methods.  Joe List began his comedy career in Boston, Massachusetts in 2000 just weeks after graduating from high school. Since that time he has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with David Letterman as well as multiple appearances on Conan. He’s featured in Season 2 of The Netflix Series “The Stand Ups.” In 2015 List was a finalist on NBC's “Last Comic Standing” and had his own half hour comedy special on Comedy Central. His albums “So Far No Good” and “Are You Mad at Me”' can be heard regularly on SiriusXM Radio. List is also the co-host of his own popular weekly podcast “Tuesdays with Stories.' When not headlining comedy clubs all over North America, List is a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.  This announcement comes as Comedy Central Stand-Up is growing rapidly on social and digital platforms.
