- Kelsey Grammer Says 'Frasier' Reboot First Episode 'in final stages'; 'I'm happy'
- Airdate:
Monday on "The Talk" Kelsey Grammer spills details about the upcoming "Frasier" reboot. "The key ingredient for the 'Frasier' reboot is actually Frasier honestly. It was always called [Frasier], so it's me, the key is me." Grammer also shares information on when shooting may begin. "There's been some conversation about maybe October, maybe a little later. I don't know. There are a couple other things coming up. We've developed a couple other projects that look like they're going to shoot first. But we're in the final stages of the final script for the first episode of 'Fraiser,' the reboot. And it looks pretty good. I've had a couple of runs through it, and I cried, so you know, I'm happy."

- Kym Whitley Emotionally Reacts to R. Kelly Sentencing; 'it's a trigger for me'
- Airdate:
"The Talk's" guest co-host Kym Whitley reacts to R. Kelly being sentenced to 30 years in prison on federal sex trafficking charges and trauma she suffered after viewing the sex tapes years ago. "I've never told this story on this show, but I feel like every time I hear about R. Kelly it's a trigger for me. I'm going to get emotional, but I had a talk show back in 2003...I got a tape, one of the first sex tapes, sent to me. And it kind of changed my career...it was a young gospel singer that was with him, and her publicist decided to turn me into the FBI. And the FBI spent a year basically investigating me and harassing me. I went to the grand jury to testify, they really wanted to know about R. Kelly, and it really became less about him and really about me...I watched [these tapes] and I tried to tell the young lady this is happening, but her publicist felt like I was trying to extort her something. And they brought me to the grand jury, and they just really wanted to know about these young girls an R. Kelly, and I'm like what are you talking about? I had seen the tapes, but I still was in denial...The documentary ['Surviving R. Kelly'] is what really brought everything in the world to a head...This is not about me and that I'm upset. It really, it's about the victims...and what they went through. And I couldn't really talk, and it's traumatic." Whitley adds, "I hope that when he is in prison that he gets counseling to understand how this happened to him and why he should speak out so no one else will do this."

- Danny Trejo Talks 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' and Character 'Stronghold'
- Airdate:
Thursday on "The Talk" Danny Trejo spills on his new film "Minions: The Rise of Gru." "It's a movie that's both for parents and kids too," says Trejo. On his character Stronghold, he adds, "The hands came in real handy for cracking down doors and stuff. But it was tough picking up a toothbrush. But I had a lot of fun with that. And I love doing animation because it's just you and the director...it's all about the voice, so you can show up in pajamas if you want." Guest co-host Ray J asks, "Did you have to change your voice drastically?" Trejo responds, "When they hire you, they're almost hiring you for your voice and the director will sometimes tell you, wait, you went to high on that."

- Ray J Says 'I'm sorry' to Brandy For 'Verzuz' Performance; Ready for 'Ray-demption'
- Airdate:
"The Talk" guest co-host Ray J reacts to his recent "Versuz" battle singing "One Wish" and getting criticism from sister Brandy. "You know, I had my baby in my arms...and I was just having too much fun and tequila...and my sister had a whole plan for me that night. I was supposed to drink tea and I was only supposed to stay in one place for the whole performance." After Brandy posted her reaction on social media, Ray J says, "I tried to delete that...I love my sister because it's so important to make sure you perfect your craft as much as you can and give the world a good show. I mean, I entertained though, but as far as the vocals, I have a lot of redeeming to do." Ray J adds, "She's hard on me on this, so it's not redemption, it's Ray-demption. I apologized to my sister right on the spot...right after I hit the note I apologized." Natalie Morales asks, "You haven't talked to Brandy since? Ray J responds, "B, I'm sorry. I know you know that I'm good at singing and I promise you, I'm not gonna let you down, okay."
