SECOND EPISODE WITH FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA DRIVES “THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” TO ANOTHER WEEKLY WIN NOV. 30-DEC. 4

For the week ending Friday, Dec. 4 (week #11 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT averaged an audience of 3.11 million viewers, beating “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.78m) by +75% and “The Tonight Show” (1.75m) by +78%.

Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW is first in viewers (3.09m), leading “Jimmy Kimmel Live” by +74% (versus 1.78m) and “The Tonight Show” by +101% (versus 1.54m). THE LATE SHOW is also leading both competitors’ late night offerings in adults 18-49 viewers (453k) for COLBERT vs. Kimmel (377k) and Fallon (360k).

Finally, in live plus 3-day lift, the second half of Stephen’s interview last Monday with former president Barack Obama was a slam dunk – reaching an impressive 3.80 million viewers. THE LATE SHOW was also the #1 late night show for views of current content on YouTube (clips posted during the week) by an impressive margin of 10 million views. Clips from the Monday, Nov. 30 episode featuring President Obama helped propel THE LATE SHOW to the win, netting 6 million total views alone. (Source: Tubular Labs)
