FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA HELPS DRIVE A BIG THANKSGIVING WEEK FOR “THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT”

RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR NOV. 23-27

For the week ending Friday, Nov. 27 (week #10 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT averaged an audience of 3.69 million viewers, beating “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.89m) by +95% and “The Tonight Show” (1.64m) by +125%. THE LATE SHOW also beat those competitors COMBINED by +160,000 viewers (vs. 3.53m, +5%).

Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW is first in viewers (3.08m), leading “Jimmy Kimmel Live” by +73% (versus 1.78m) and “The Tonight Show” by +104% (versus 1.51m). THE LATE SHOW is also leading both competitors’ late night offerings in adults 18-49 (0.4 for COLBERT vs. Kimmel and Fallon’s 0.3).

Finally, in live plus 3-day lift, Stephen’s interview last Tuesday with former president Barack Obama reached an impressive 4.71 million viewers, THE LATE SHOW’s largest audience on any night since May 16, 2019 (“Big Bang Theory” cast). Clips of Colbert’s Tuesday night interview with Mr. Obama have amassed 8.66 million total views combined across YouTube and Facebook.
